This Careers Page is operated by Checkmarx Ltd. of Amot Atrium Tower, 11th Floor, 2 Jabotinsky Street, 5250501 Ramat Gan, Israel, and its affiliated entities (collectively, the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “ours”) in order to support the recruitment functions of the Company. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is applicable to all the information collected and processed by the Company in connection with your job application submitted on this Career’s Page and the Company’s recruitment process. Personal information submitted elsewhere on the Company’s web sites will be used in accordance with the online privacy policies on those websites. This Policy explains:

The provision of personal information on the Careers Page is voluntary, however, failure to provide sufficient information may result in the Company being unable to consider your employment application. By clicking on “Submit Application”, you indicate and declare that you have read this Policy carefully and accept our collection, use, transfer and disclosure of personal information as described in this Policy. For purposes below where we require your consent to process your personal information, by clicking on “Submit Application”, you indicate and declare that you consent to our collection, use, transfer and disclosure of personal information for these purposes. If you do not accept this Policy, we cannot process your online application for a position with the Company. What Information We Collect During the Application and Recruitment Process. This Policy covers the personal information you submit through the Careers Page as part of the job application or job search process. Personal Information: You may choose to submit the following information:
  • name, contact information;
  • content of your Linkedin profile (if shared);
  • CV, résumé, cover letter, application, previous work experience and education information; professional and other work-related licenses, permits and certifications held;
  • language and other relevant skills;
  • salary expectations;
  • awards and professional memberships; and
  • eligibility to work in the country where the job applied for is located.
Reference Information: You may also provide us with information relating to references. If you provide us with details of a reference or any other third party as part of your CV/résumé, it is your responsibility to obtain consent from that third party prior to passing the personal information to us. You are responsible for the content of the information you provide to us and you must ensure it is legal, truthful, accurate and not misleading in any way and does not infringe on any third party’s rights, or is not otherwise legally actionable by such third party. How We Use that Information and Why We Collect It. All information you provide through the Careers Page will be collected and used to:
  • process your application;
  • assess your capabilities and qualifications for a job;
  • conduct reference checks;
  • provide to you any services available on the Careers Page from time to time;
  • communicate with you;
  • comply with any applicable law or regulation;
  • and conduct background checks if you are offered a job.
We need to process your personal information for our legitimate interest and pre-contractual employment purposes to assess your application in our recruitment process, including to ensure your health and safety at work. In some cases, we also need to process your information to ensure that we are complying with our legal obligations. For example, it is mandatory to check a successful applicant’s eligibility to work in certain countries before the employment starts. We may also need to process data from job applicants to respond to and defend against legal claims. Sensitive Information We request that you avoid submitting sensitive information in connection with your job application, including, without limitation, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union memberships or sexual orientation. If you do decide to share this kind of information with us (e.g. as part of your CV), please note that we do not process this information other than storing it which is done on the basis of your explicit consent. How Long We Keep Your Information. If we elect to make you an offer, personal information you submit will be incorporated into our human resources system and used to manage the new-hire process. If you become an employee, any personal information that you submit will become part of your employee file and used for other employment/work-related purposes. It will be held and used in accordance with our data protection policy for employee records which will be made available to you at that time. Your Consent and How You Can Withdraw Your Consent. If your application is unsuccessful, we will retain your personal information for the purposes of considering whether your profile is suitable for other job vacancies, now and in the future, to allow us to monitor and improve our recruitment processes, and for reference should you re-apply to us in the future. For this purpose, we are relying on your consent to process your information. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that your withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before your withdrawal. You can withdraw your consent by sending an email to [email protected] with your request to withdraw consent including the personal information affected. Disclosure of Information to Recipients. Personal information about you will be reviewed by the Company employees or agents who have a business need to access such personal information and may include recruiters, human resources personnel, technical services personnel and managers. We may also transfer your personal information to our local or foreign subsidiaries or affiliated companies for the purpose of storing or processing such information on our behalf. Such information may be transferred to other countries. We require that these parties agree to process such information in compliance with this Policy. We may share personal information about you with selected service providers or consultants acting on our behalf, such as third parties assisting the Company with the operation of the Careers Page and HR management platforms. Those third parties will be required to protect personal information. If we are required by law to disclose your information, we may share your information with law enforcement or other competent authorities and any third party, as may be required (e.g to respond to claims or satisfy any legal process, subpoena, or governmental request; or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of persons or property). In addition, in the event that the Company or any if its entities go through a business transition such as a merger or acquisition by another company, consolidation, change of control, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information will be among the assets shared and transferred. Transfers to Third Countries. We will take appropriate steps to ensure that transfers of your personal information are in accordance with applicable laws and carefully managed to protect your privacy rights and interests. To this end, if we as the data controller share your information with our corporate affiliates or third party service providers outside the EEA, we have – prior to sharing your information with such corporate affiliate or third party service provider – established the necessary means to ensure an adequate level of data protection. This may be an adequacy decision of the European Commission confirming an adequate level of data protection in the respective non-EEA country or an agreement on the basis of the EU Model Clauses (a set of clauses issued by the European Commission) or EU – US Privacy Shield certification.   • You have a right to access personal information held about you. Your right of access can normally be exercised free of charge, however we reserve the right to charge an appropriate administrative fee where permitted by applicable law.
  • You have the right to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information concerning you. If you no longer want us to use your personal information, you can request that we erase your personal information. Please note that if you request the erasure of your personal information, we will not be able to complete the purposes described above. We may retain some of your personal information as necessary for our legitimate interests to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
  • You have a right to restrict the processing of your personal information, for example in case when we no longer need your personal information for the initial purposes for which they were collected, but they are required by you for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
  • You have a right to obtain a portable copy of personal information which is processed on the basis of your consent, or which is necessary for the performance of a contract between us.
  • You have a right to have such portable copy of personal information transferred to another data controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
  • You also have a right to request details of the basis on which your personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, but you acknowledge that data transfer agreements may need to be partially redacted for reasons of commercial confidentiality.
  • You have a right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you have concerns about how we are processing your personal information. We ask that you please attempt to resolve any issues with us first, although you have a right to contact your supervisory authority at any time.
Subject to legal and other permissible considerations, we will make every reasonable effort to honor your request promptly or inform you if we require further information in order to fulfill your request. In the event that your request, for example, would impact the duty of confidentiality we owe to others, or if we are legally entitled to deal with your request in a different way than initially requested, we will address your request to the maximum extent possible, all in accordance with applicable law.
