Using Broadcast Templates
The Broadcast Templates section offers various templates that you may base your broadcast on in an effort to promote the importance of the security training. You use the desired template by customizing (editing) it and saving this customized version under a new name.
From the menu, select Communications. The Communications page opens.
To start a new message, click <Create Broadcast> and follow the instructions.

While creating your message and editing the template, you can always preview the content by clicking <PREVIEW> in the upper right corner of the Create Broadcast interface.
Go to the page with the desired template, for example the AppSec Awareness Kickoff template.
Navigate to the desired template and click <EDIT>. The Create Broadcast dialog appears and you are able to edit the content.
To view the source code, click <> at the toolbar. The source code appears in a separate window.
Click <OK>. The source code window closes.
If desired, you can edit the text of the template in the text box and change the template's image as explained below.
Text: Simply add, edit or delete text in the body of the template.
Image: To view the source and dimensions of the current image, click inside the image and then click Insert/Edit Image as illustrated below. The Insert/Edit Image dialog appears with the URL, the dimensions and the image description.
To replace the image, click Insert/Edit Image and choose one of the images below, click <Copy URL> under the desired image, paste this URL under Source in the Insert/Edit Image dialog in place of the current URL and adjust the dimensions as needed. In addition, you may customize the image description. By default, it is Image.
To add an image, click at the desired location, click Insert/Edit Image and add the image URL, dimensions and the image description.
Warning
The orange call-to-action button <Visit Dashboard> at the bottom is not automatically linked to the site.
Select the call-to-action button and click Insert/Edit Link.
Enter the details of the link and then click <OK>.
