Editing Project Settings - Activating Notifications

You can edit the settings of an existing Project. In addition to adjusting the settings that were configured when the Project was created, there are additional settings that can only be accessed by editing the Project Settings.

  • Notifications - When a Checkmarx SCA scan is run on your Project, Checkmarx SCA identifies all packages used by your project, even packages that don’t contain any known vulnerabilities. Checkmarx is constantly updating our databases with new vulnerabilities that apply to your packages. You can activate the Notifications feature to send an email notification whenever a new vulnerability is identified in a package that is used in your project.

This setting needs to be enabled for each Project separately.

  • Python - For Python projects, you can specify the Python version used, in order to optimize the Checkmarx SCA results.
