Emmanuel Benzaquen

Emmanuel Benzaquen
Emmanuel Benzaquen is the Chief Executive Officer at Checkmarx. Leading Checkmarx since its inception in 2006, he has helped shape the company from vision to reality in pioneering and bringing software security solutions to companies all over the world.
Benzaquen’s career spans Silicon Valley and Israel for more than 25 years. Prior to Checkmarx, he held numerous leadership positions in the enterprise software, IT, and semiconductor industries for companies including Virage Logic (acquired by Synopsys), Argonaut RISC Core (which completed its IPO in 2000), Embedded Performance, Inc. (acquired by Mentor Graphics), and Illuminator (acquired by Dell EMC).
Benzaquen earned both his MBA and Master of Science degrees in International Business and Electrical Engineering, respectively.

Maty Siman
Chief Technology Officer
Maty Siman
Maty Siman is the Chief Technology Officer at Checkmarx. As the company’s founder, he has been instrumental in overseeing its technology and product strategy from the very beginning, helping customers achieve their goals of developing and releasing more secure software.
Siman possesses over 15 years of experience in software development, IT security, and source code analysis. Previously, he worked for two years at the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office as a senior IT security expert and project manager. Additionally, he spent six years with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), where he was elected to the STAR excellence program and taught several consecutive sessions for their prestigious application development course, Mamram.
Siman regularly speaks at IT security conferences, including RSA and Black Hat, and has been CISSP certified since 2003.

Shmuel Arvatz
Chief Financial Officer
Shmuel Arvatz
Shmuel Arvatz is the Chief Financial Officer at Checkmarx. He oversees Checkmarx’s global financial and IT business functions.
With over 25 years of experience spanning large software companies, Arvatz has managed global finance and accounting operations and led initial and secondary public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and significant sales transactions for a number of companies.
Before joining Checkmarx, Arvatz served as CFO at Allot Communications, a leading provider of security and monetization solutions. Prior to that, he spent 12 years as CFO at ClickSoftware.
Arvatz earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting from Bar-Ilan University.

Dalit Krainer
Chief Human Resources Officer
Dalit Krainer
Dalit Krainer is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Checkmarx. In this role, she is responsible for leading Checkmarx’s HR strategy, mission, and values across the organization.
Krainer is a seasoned veteran, possessing over 20 years of global HR experience including leadership development, cultural transformation, talent management, team building, and acquisition management. She has previously helped multiple organizations navigate post-merger integrations and IPOs. Prior to joining Checkmarx, Krainer served as Global Vice President of HR at Amdocs for nearly seven years.
Krainer earned her Master’s degree in Labor Studies from Tel Aviv University.

Moshe Lerner
Chief Strategist
Moshe Lerner
Moshe Lerner is the Chief Strategist at Checkmarx. He is responsible for shaping, facilitating, and communicating Checkmarx’s strategic initiatives, both internally and externally.
Lerner brings over 20 years of experience to his role, previously holding executive positions across the software industry in both the U.S. and Europe. Prior to Checkmarx, he developed products and projects for Fortune 500 customers including International Paper, UBS, and Siemens in cooperation with large solution providers like IBM and Accenture. Additionally, he served as an executive in product management and business development roles for Sapiens and ItemField (acquired by Informatica).
Lerner earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the Technion in Israel.

Kobi Tzruya
Chief Research and Development Officer
Kobi Tzruya
Kobi Tzruya is the Chief Research and Development Officer at Checkmarx. In this role, he is responsible for setting and executing Checkmarx’s R&D strategy and direction.
With over 24 years of technical experience, Tzruya specializes in executive management, solution deployment and adoption, and project management, as well as overseeing customer success and support, sales engineering, and quality assurance.
Prior to joining Checkmarx, Tzruya served as Chief Operating Officer at M-Wise, Inc. for nearly nine years, where he led sales and business development.
Tzruya earned his Master’s degree in Information Technology and Marketing and his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Yoav Ziv
Chief Customer Success and Global Services Officer
Yoav Ziv
Yoav Ziv is the company’s Chief Customer Success and Services Officer. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring our customers are enabled to extract the most value from our products. Ziv brings over 24 years of comprehensive experience in driving service and business excellence in global technology companies.
Deeply understanding our customers’ landscape and processes, he specializes in executive management, employee leadership, customer management, and DevOps software delivery.
Prior to joining Checkmarx, Ziv served as Chief Operating Officer at Qualitest, and before that had a long tenure at Amdocs, where he began as a programmer and left as a General Manager. Ziv earned his MBA from Ben-Gurion university, and his Bachelor of Computer Science & Economics degree from Tel Aviv University.

Steven Webster
Vice President of Global Marketing
Steven Webster
Steven is the Vice President of Global Marketing at Checkmarx. In this role, he is responsible for leading the company’s marketing strategy across product, digital, demand, go-to-market and communications, globally.
Steven brings over 20 years of experience in technology and B2B Marketing, with an executive focus on global marketing strategy, corporate marketing, digital marketing, customer marketing & developer communities.
Prior to joining Checkmarx, Steven served in marketing executive roles at Palo Alto Networks, leading their customer marketing and developer community initiatives, and F5 Networks, where he led their corporate marketing, digital marketing, and community transformation. Steven started his career as a developer, leading dev teams for both a large ERP company and small SaaS startups.
