Emmanuel Benzaquen
Emmanuel Benzaquen is the Chief Executive Officer at Checkmarx. Leading the company since its inception in 2006, he has helped shape it from vision to reality in pioneering and bringing software security solutions to companies all over the world.
Emmanuel’s career has spanned Silicon Valley and Israel for more than 25 years. Prior to Checkmarx, he held numerous leadership positions in the enterprise software, IT, and semiconductor industries for companies including Virage Logic (acquired by Synopsys), Argonaut RISC Core (which completed its IPO in 2000), Embedded Performance, Inc. (acquired by Mentor Graphics), and Illuminator (acquired by Dell EMC).
Emmanuel earned MBA and master of science degrees in international business and electrical engineering, respectively.

Maty
Siman
Maty Siman
Maty Siman is the Chief Technology Officer at Checkmarx. As the company’s founder, he has been instrumental in overseeing its technology and product strategy from the very beginning, helping customers achieve their goals of developing and releasing more secure software.
Maty has more than 15 years’ experience in software development, IT security, and source code analysis. Previously, he worked for two years at the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office as a senior IT security expert and project manager. Additionally, he spent six years with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), where he was elected to the STAR excellence program and taught several consecutive sessions for their prestigious application development course, Mamram.
Maty regularly speaks at IT security conferences, including RSA and Black Hat, and has been CISSP certified since 2003.

Arvatz
Shmuel Arvatz
Shmuel Arvatz is the Chief Financial Officer at Checkmarx. He oversees the company’s global financial and IT business functions.
With more than 25 years of experience spanning large software companies, Shmuel has managed global finance and accounting operations as well as led initial and secondary public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and significant sales transactions for a number of companies.
Before joining Checkmarx, Shmuel served as CFO at Allot Communications, a leading provider of security and monetization solutions. Prior to that, he spent 12 years as CFO at ClickSoftware.
Shmuel earned his BA in economics and accounting from Bar-Ilan University.

Dalit
Krainer
Dalit Krainer
Dalit Krainer is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Checkmarx. In this role, she is responsible for leading the company’s HR strategy, mission, and values across the organization.
Dalit is a seasoned veteran with more than 20 years of global HR experience, including leadership development, cultural transformation, talent management, team building, and acquisition management. She has previously helped multiple organizations navigate post-merger integrations and IPOs. Prior to joining Checkmarx, Dalit served as Global Vice President of HR at Amdocs for nearly seven years.
Dalit earned her master’s degree in labor studies from Tel Aviv University.

Roman
Tuma
Roman Tuma
Roman Tuma is the Chief Revenue Officer at Checkmarx, responsible for driving the company’s overall go-to-market strategy as well as overseeing global sales, channel operations, and strategic alliances.
Roman brings more than 27 years of experience to the role, 17 of them spent in cybersecurity building and operating high-growth, customer-oriented teams. Prior to Checkmarx, he spent more than 10 years at IBM in a number of security and cloud-related positions and business units. Before IBM, he held various leadership and sales roles at Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and ActivCard.
Roman was previously the Vice President of Sales for Checkmarx’s EMEA, LATAM, and APAC business.
He received a double degree in hardware and software engineering from the Secondary Industrial School of Electrical Engineering in Prague.

Kobi
Tzruya
Kobi Tzruya
Kobi Tzruya is the Chief Research and Development Officer at Checkmarx. In this role, he is responsible for setting and executing the company’s R&D strategy and direction.
With more than 24 years of technical experience, Kobi specializes in executive management, solution deployment and adoption, and project management, as well as overseeing customer success and support, sales engineering, and quality assurance.
Prior to joining Checkmarx, Kobi served as Chief Operating Officer at m—wise for nearly nine years, where he led sales and business development.
Kobi earned his master’s in information technology and marketing as well as his bachelor of science in industrial engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Yoav
Ziv
Yoav Ziv
Yoav Ziv is the Chief Customer Success and Global Services Officer at Checkmarx. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring our customers can extract the most value from our products. Yoav brings more than 24 years of comprehensive experience driving service and business excellence in global technology companies.
Deeply understanding our customers’ landscape and processes, he specializes in executive management, employee leadership, customer management, and DevOps software delivery.
Prior to joining Checkmarx, Yoav served as Chief Operating Officer at Qualitest, and before that had a long tenure at Amdocs, where he began as a programmer and left as a general manager.
Yoav earned his MBA from Ben-Gurion University and his bachelor of computer science and economics from Tel Aviv University.

Razi
Sharir
Razi Sharir
Razi Sharir is the Chief Product Officer at Checkmarx. In this role, he’s responsible for overseeing the company’s product strategy and roadmap.
Razi joined Checkmarx from Tableau, where he was the VP of Product Management leading the company’s transition to the cloud. As VP of Products at Informatica, he managed a product portfolio accounting for hundreds of millions of dollars in annual revenue. Razi relocated to the US as the CEO of Xeround and later developed the world’s first hyper-converged Kubernetes platform as VP of Products and Marketing at Robin Systems.
He started his career at Microsoft HQ on the Windows, Office, and Tools teams, and has held a variety of leadership roles at numerous tech companies in the US and Israel.
Razi holds a master’s degree in philosophy, magna cum laude, from Tel Aviv University, an MBA in marketing from the City University of Seattle, and a BA in economics and sociology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Assaf
Amitay
Assaf Amitay
Assaf Amitay is the Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations at Checkmarx. He is responsible for building strategic integrations for all go-to-market functions to maximize revenue potential for the company.
Assaf joined in 2019 as VP of Sales Operations. In that role, he built a robust global Sales Ops team and rebuilt the entire department. With the support of our Business Intelligence and Finance teams, he developed a set of tools for forecasting and analyzing sales results along with putting new best practices in place. He is also active in nurturing and guiding our company culture as part of the Checkmarx Culture Steering Committee.
Prior to joining the company, Assaf held leadership positions at Sight Diagnostics, Check Point Software Technologies, and McKinsey & Company.
Assaf holds a BA in economics and a master’s in biotechnology from Bar-Ilan University.
