Summary

Affected versions of macaron/i18n are vulnerable to open redirect vulnerability. This caused due to failed url path cleaning.

macaron/i18n before 0.5.0.

Impact

A link to a server using i18n may appear safe, but ultimately redirect to a malicious site.

Steps to reproduce

https://server//www.checkmarx.com

Expected result:

checkmarx.com will be loaded

Remediation

Updated macaron/i18n to 0.5.0 or above.
