“The biggest surprise for me was the amount of ungoverned and unapproved AI coding assistance being used,” Eran Kinsbruner, AppSec evangelist at Checkmarx, told ITPro Today. “With about 60% of code being generated using AI, having so many of the tools being used outside of an organization policy poses great risks to the business and can result in catastrophic failures.”
