Archive
CxArchive is the SAST archiving service that allows customers to export data from their CxSAST database reducing the load on the database.
Motivation
Customers with a large amount of data might experience performance degradation due to database overload, and to free up space it is necessary to clear results.
The CxArchive tool does not remove the data from the database, but allows archiving critical scan data from the database to an external tool, such as Elasticsearch. By having the scans exported and archived, customers can run the data retention process (which must be done manually, since it is not part of the tool) to free up space in the database.
