Upgrading the IAST Management Server
In case you have a previous version of IAST installed, you can choose to perform an upgrade to your existing installation. Upgrading keeps the current configuration intact and updates any new components. When upgrading from versions 3.0.x and older, your license must be manually replaced. To receive a new license, contact Technical Support.

Note
Make sure that there are no scans currently running. As a precaution, you should back up all IAST databases using standard SQL Server tools.
If you intend to connect to your database server using the IAST Windows Authentication Configuration (either Domain User or Network Service), make sure that the domain user with which you are starting the IAST Management Server installation has access permissions to the database server.
Navigate to the folder where you kept the installation files.
Right-click IAST Installer and select Run as Administrator to start the Checkmarx installer.
Follow the onscreen instructions to accept the license agreement.
Click <Next>. You are asked how to proceed with your existing installation.
To upgrade IAST with your current settings, select Keep Current Configuration and follow the onscreen instructions.
To upgrade IAST and edit your configuration, select New Configuration and follow the instructions under Installing the IAST Management Server under Windows.
Once the setup is completed, click <Finish>.
Confirm that the IAST services have started as explained under Installing the IAST Management Server under Windows.
